Recap

To begin, I would like to clarify that school officially ended on June, 28th. It has been a good one week into my 2010 summer!
Since it has been one week since school "officially" ended, I think I will give a brief, descriptive recap of the past seven days of summer.

It has been fun, I believe, everyday so far.

One of the very first things I spend on my first day of summer was invite my friend Jenny over. We had a picnic and played Robot Unicorn Attack. I had a joyous time! Jenny makes me laugh a lot, and I love just hanging out with her, she is very cool.

Myself and five others went to Jenny's cottage a couple days ago. She resides on Horseshoe Island, which is infact a very large island, however cannot be found on google maps; this was very upseting for Jenny.
We did the usual cottage activites- tubing, wakeboarding, swimming, watching movies, sleeping, BBQing, and so on. She also had a hot tub? Who has a hot tub at their cottage? It didn't matter though, we were hanging around there a lot as well! It was very fun, I don't really know what else to say about it... It was really fun, I felt everyone also had a great time. Jenny agreed to make this an annunal tradition, I dont mind at all, I personally think that is a splendid idea!
Below is a picture of all of us (with the exception of Jenny) shampooing our hair in the water. I remember the water was very very cold.

A couple days ago, I went to KCVIs graduation to help out. I had to be there, except all the other people that "had to be there" weren't there, so I was a little confused. Nevertheless, I was there to help... except there was really nothing for me to do... So, again I was little confused. There were 6 others feeling the exact same way I did. Grad began at 7pm and was planned on being finished at 10pm. We arrived at 5pm, and awkwardly stood around doing nothing... To be honest, I wasn't too upset because I did infact want to say goodbye to a couple parting grad 12s. Too bad the auditorium was completely full, so I couldn't even watch some of the assembly, oh well. Probably the best part of the night was ordering pizza with one of the teachers credit cards! It was really funny, and I think all 7 of us really bonded while hanging out for about 3 hours together.

The day after graduation, I made plans with a couple of people to play tennis. Planning to play at 10am, we decided to push the time back a little further due to some conflicting arrangements. Me and my one friend Maddie decided the go for a bike ride in a conservation area near my house, wasting time till 2pm. I think I might have popped her tire from going on a vigorous trail, perhaps not intended for bikes like hers. I don't think she noticed, so hopefully she isn't mad... We played tennis at 2pm and I laughed a lot!
After, Maddie and her little brother came over for dinner, and then that night my friend Kelly invited me over for a sleepover. Another girl another girl named Simone joined us as well.

We decided to pull an all-nighter. We went to McDonalds at 1am and I was a little creeped out by the people around... Then we did some other stuff, that was pretty bad. I don't really want to talk about it because it makes me feel guilty/it is a long story. In the end, we never had an all nighter, and our friend's parent came to us in the morning and gave us a "talk". It was pretty embarrassing. Anyways, since that day was Canada Day, (July 1st) we just hungout at Kelly's, went tubing at her uncles, then we went to watch fireworks at Confederation Park with others. It was fun! We watched a couple bands play and hung out. There were a lot of people around... I got home around 11pm and I couldn't sleep till 1.

The next day, (which is now yesterday) I invited Mado and Kelly over. Actually, I felt bad towards the beginning. So, I invited Mado over, which she was on her way, but called to tell me she will arriving a tad late because she was having lunch with her mom, then Kelly called and said she was biking over (which is somewhat a faaaar bike ride)(an approximately 10-15min car ride...) Anyways, I wanted Kelly to come over, but I didnt have my bike available, so I agreed to run there while she bikes. I guess I was hoping that I would meet up with Kelly, and then come back home just in time as Mado arrived at my house. Ok, that did not happen... So Mado ended up waiting 20-30min for me and Kelly to arrive... I hope her conversation with my mom wasn't too awkward...
Otherwise, we ended playing Sims 3 for a very very very long time! It didn't even save because my computer was going crazy and then just shut off!!! (probably because we played Sims for atleast 6 hours nonstop) Eventually we made our way up stairs to clean my room, which Kel and Mado tried on some of my very "revealing" clothes. No worries though, I dont wear that kind of stuff... And eventually had hamburgers for dinner, then went to the park.
That day was fun as well! They left at about 9:30pm, and then I couldnt sleep that night again. Its not like I wasn't tired. I was sooooo tired, but I just couldnt sleep! I hate those nights, but unfortunately, I've been getting them a lot lately.

Today is the first day when I didnt do anything, except for hang out on my own. I am slightly happy that I got a little peace and quiet. I started reading "Four Past Midnight" from Stephen King today, and it is a really good book. I guess I feel weird for doing nothing today, but I dont mind, I really can't be doing something every single day- I'd probably die from exhaustion! However, I dont plan on spending every day of summer like this... Don't worry. So I suppose it is a good thing that I don't write many posts, instead I think I will give big updates like this.

Well, I am having dinner very soon- and hopefully going out to play some tennis with my brother later on. I really want to be good at tennis...
